The pivot mechanism is built around a precision-molded polycarbonate ball-and-socket joint with a dual-spring return system: a primary stainless coil spring that provides the main return force, and a secondary silicone O-ring that dampens oscillation and prevents the characteristic "head-bounce" felt in cheaper spring-pivot designs. At the cartridge level, we mount a 4-blade or 5-blade Swedish stainless array in our Low-Profile cartridge housing — 1.8mm thinner than industry standard — which, in combination with the extended pivot arc, allows the razor to navigate the angular under-nose zone and the lateral chin curve that cause the majority of consumer shaving complaints. The handle features a Twist-Weight adjustment system, where a threaded brass insert in the handle base can be turned to shift the center of gravity between 78g (front-weighted for cheek shaving) and 95g (rear-weighted for neck and jawline).
